WhoDey Revolution is proud to have been nominated in three categories for "2010 Best of Cincinnati" by CityBeat. WDR is competing in the "Best Blog," "Best Twitter Feed" (for @MikeyBoyBrown) and "Best Troublemaker."
While we would love to win all three, @MikeyBoyBrown is no match for Chad Johnson's @OGOchoCinco. Best blog would be great, but we at WDR strive to be more than a blog. That's why we are going to put our full force behind trying to win "Best Troublemaker."
WDR is competing in the "Best Troublemaker" category with politicians (Jean Schmidt), radio personalities (Bill Cunningham) and community activists (Chris Smitherman). But WDR is the only website that has brought the MAYHEM.
So please support the Revolution today by visiting the Citybeat site and picking WhoDey Revolution from the drop down menu under "Best Troublemaker."

I nominate WDR for:
Best Motion Picture Soundtrack
( "Chariots of Fire" gets a nod for runner-up )
Best Motion Picture Involving A Plane, the FAA, Urinal Cakes, Dennys, Ginger Kids, and COFFEE PLEASE
( no 'also-rans' ever came close )
I nominate Mike Brown for:
Best Supporting Athlete

As I said,
I nominate Mike Brown for:
Best Supporting Athlete...kind of like Atlas, but instead of one...

Unrelated note: and heeeeere we go again. ESPN reporting that Maualuga is charged w/ DUI. Remember when we had that good season in 2005, and then lost our first playoff game, and then everyone started getting arrested, and then we had to deal with three seasons of complete heartbreak and suck?

Congrats to everyone at WDR. You deserve the nominations.
@Ben, I saw that on Lance's page and had an immediate flashback myself. A few weeks after a cup of coffee in the playoffs, a stand-out rookie linebacker gets arrested for DUI. The parallels are spooky.

I wasn't sure where else to post this comment, but did anyone else notice that Bill Simmons' latest column (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/100129&sportCat=nfl) on the 15 most tortured teams DOES NOT include the Bengals but does include teams like the Eagles, a team with numerous playoff appearances (and wins) over the past decade as well as a Super Bowl appearance? Maybe Simmons should be a target for the next Project Mayhem effort....
