of course he will hold out, the team lost any leverage they might of had when they cut Levi......this guy and his agent aren't stupid, they know the Bengals penciled Hippapoto Smith in as a starter.....and they are looking for a "gravyboat" full of guaranteed money! Does it surprise anyone how inept this front office is? Hippo will be late to camp, Whit will have to play tackle, Hippo will be ready by maybe week 4 and be put into the starting role, Whit will move back to tackle, so about week 8, the OL will have finally come together. Of course Carson won't be starting anymore at that point, by that time JT will be running the show because Carson's arm got ripped off.
As soon as you think they "might" have made a good decision or three in the draft, they F it up with player personnel decisions. I was all for cutting Levi, but wouldn't it make more sense to do that after you sign your #1 pick/replacement? That way at least there's SOME indication to Hippo and his agent that the team could get by without him???
