Beloved if inappropriate Deadspin, harps upon my favorite delusional topic: NBA relocation. This article focuses particularly on the plight of the Sacramento Kings. The conclusion? They should move back to Kansas City, their former town.
I call shenanigans. They were the Cincinnati Royals before they were the Kansas City Kings dammit. Get your history straight jerks.
Regardless, if Kansas City can support a franchise then Cincinnati sure as hell can. The Bengals need some competition for their ticket revenue. Let's make this happen no matter ridiculous it is. For those wanting a casino, the Kings' owners are the frickin' Maloof brothers (owners of The Palms in Vegas), we'll work something out.

Except KC has a new state of the art arena that's dying for an anchor tenant. The Riverfront Mausoleum/Firstar Center/US Bank Arena has been out of date since roughly the Who concert.

NBA is worse than baseball with regard to parity. There are only 4-5 teams that have a legitimate shot winning the championship each year. If Cincinnati had an NBA team, it would go through consecutive decades of disappointment and mediocrity. I can't handle any more of that.
Plus, nobody in Cincinnati cares about the NBA. Who would go to those games?
And Dude Above's right - nobody's gonna hang out in Riverfront Mausoleum (I like the nickname)
At least you got the article title right.
Im starved for WDR's take on the draft. I guess there are several opinions within WDR, but which of the tackles should we take? What OL is gonna be available 2nd/3rd round? Who are we gonna miss drafting that will have me making fun of my season-ticket holding friends? Mike Brown's an idiot asshole. Sorry, I just had the urge to throw that in.

If we had an NBA team, I'd be that guy who buys a jersey immediately, gets season tickets immediately and ignores the Bengals even more. God I'd want a team here. Sorry but I do. Go Royals.

Also hate to poke a hole in this but before the Cincinnati Royals, they were the Rochester Royals. Although they obviously could no longer field an NBA team, I hope.
