Mike Brown made a surprise appearance yesterday at The Banks site as local and state officials were on hand for a tour of the project.
According to the stadium deal the Bengals signed with the county, the team has refusal rights to what can go to the right or left of PBS, up to certain distances. It sounds like Brown is on board with the project, which can only stand to make his product better (anything is better than piles of dirt and a failing museum). But, you never know what secret agenda he has hiding under that fedora.

Has mike mastered manipulation of the space time continuum? Because you say he was there yesterday today.

The sight of Mike Brown with that grin on his face can only mean bad things for The Banks and Cincinnati. That's probably the same look on his face that the teller at 5/3rd sees every Monday morning after he deposits his weekly check/allowence from the NFL. There was probably a clause in the lease drawn up by his boy Bob Bedinghaus stating that on 3/30/2009 and each year following, 1 million dollars in small unmarked bills is to be delievered to PBS by 12 noon. Failure to do this would now turn over the entire riverfront to the Brown family including GABP which would be renamed The Great Americans Mike Brown/ Bob Bedinghaus Ballpark or GAMBBBBP.
The funniest thing in that report was Mike Brown talking about progress like he knows what that is
