Who Dey Revolution Manifesto

  • Preamble

    IN THIS TIME of perpetual Cincinnati Bengals incompetence and futility, with zero playoff wins in the nineteen seasons since the WhoDeyRevolution Godfather, Paul Brown, passed away in 1991 and handed the team to his fortunate son, the Despot, Mike Brown;

    Introduction

    WE, the members of the Who Dey Revolution, in our fervent dedication to the Cincinnati Bengals and fanatical desire to transform our hometown team into perpetual Super Bowl contenders, call for a popular revolution of fans to demand comprehensive reform to the managerial decisions and approach of Cincinnati Bengals ownership, management, staff and players, and hereby call for the adoption of the following Who Dey Revolution Manifesto:

    Manifesto Demands

    THAT the Mike Brown, Katie Blackburn, Marvin Lewis, along with every other member of the Bengals management, staff and personnel, state publicly to all Bengals fans, “I will do everything in my power to help the Cincinnati Bengals win a Super Bowl;”

    THAT Mike Brown will hire a general manager, drastically expand the scouting department and relinquish all control of player personnel;

    THAT all training, rehabilitation and medical facilities are considered best-in-class compared to other NFL teams;

    THAT the management fill the team only with players who fit the system, both mentally and physically, and are not reluctant to makes changes to player personnel when needed, regardless of cost or loyalty concerns;

    THAT offensive and defensive line depth is considered the top priority for all player personnel decisions;

    THAT all decisions made by ownership, management, staff and players, both on and off the field, are judged only by this criterion: “Does this help the Cincinnati Bengals win a Super Bowl?”

No Joke! I hear you loud and clear! I read the article too and I am tired as hell of listening to Baghdad Hob! Its more than annoying its plain asinine! I am embarassed to be a Bengals fan! I will always be one at heart but I am now a Bear's fan since I live, go to school and work in Chicago. Sorry Cincinnati, sorry Mike Brown, but until you do whats right, good bye and good riddance!

I agree, I am ready for the Bengals organization to do something bold and show the fans that they are committed to win a Super Bowl and this is the teams top priority. This kind of article only frustrates us more.

Absolutely right. It's embarrassing that our team site has to congratulate the biggest team rival. I can see where they're coming from because he was a great QB. But he's a Steeler now and now he can't accomplish anything that benefits us as fans.

I'like to see Bengals.com do a nice feature on the lighter side of Kimo Von Oelhoffen.Whats he's been up to since ruining my favorite players career?

It's simple. Mike Brown is a bottom. And he likes it that way. And he thinks we like it that way too.

How long before Anderson considers himself a Steeler at heart? He's already had more success in Pittsburgh than he ever did in Cincinnati.

Anderson can, go fuck a, duck.

Apparently the Bengals organization is only committed to winning a Super Bowl (or at least giving their players one) 20-30 years after the fact on rival teams. Great. By the way thanks for the nod, Simon.

Jeezus H Christ. It is one thing to recognize Anderson for what he did while a member of the BENGALS.... but I threw up in my mouth listening to Baghdad Hob ramble on about his success with Pittsburgh and the fun they had at the giant circle jerk that was the Steelers super bowl parade. Does this organization have no fucking semblance of pride whatsoever???? Do you really think that if the shoe were on the other foot, someone from the Steelers, Ravens, or even the fucking Browns would cream their fucking pants over someone from their organization who is having success with a (supposedly) hated rival???? Fuck no.

This is just another item that separates us from the rest of our so-called rivals (even though they might be hard pressed to consider us true "rivals")... the other members of the AFC North (and you know what...I'm willing to bet it goes for any other division in the NFL) would rather punch themselves in the balls while choking on their own vomit than provide great applause and accolades for another team that, at least on paper, you're supposed to loathe with all your heart. What a fucking joke.

I think it is laughable how you guys rip Bengals.com, especially laughable when you look at this site claiming to force MB to hire a GM,while in the mean time bashing anything and everything Bengals.
Face it, this site is clearly Bengal haters, not Bengal fans wanting MB to hire a GM, if that were the case, logic says, there would be an occasional article that doesn't rip the players, administration, web site and down the line. This place is a complete joke.

I am sure MB will make changes because of a hater site, good luck with that. Oh and by the way, this cause is a twin to mikebrownsucks.com, which led to absolutely nothing.
I have said this many times, I am now convinced, in no way, does this site want the Bengals to win. I feel for you if you act like this and really down deep can call yourself Bengal fans. If this is what Bengal fans are really like (they aren't) we woulodn't want anymore. Be honest, who is your real favorite team?

Or maybe we are fans who are just sick and F'N tired of all of the supidity comming from the Bengals, and have realized that there really is nothing good to report about the team right now!!

If you are that sick of the Bengals, change teams, quit being such miserable cry babies. This is the team you all claim to root for, yet bash absolutely everything, including personally attacking layers and employees of the website. Yea, I bet you are fans.
This site will change nothing, so:
A) accept it, and wish for the best, like 03-07
or
B) root for a new team!

Tony D - do you mind taking as much shit as the Bengals give you in the rest of your life too? Cause I can't imagine that would make your life enjoyable.

Your argument is ridiculous. Why should anyone accept the shit the Bengals give us, especially given they're a quasi-public institution that affects everything from city budgets to city pride?

Well said Sleeping with Bieniemy. We have a vested interest in this team, as it was the fans who paid for the stadium and expected a fair return on the investment as promised by the organization. Tony D's method of "accept it" is a typical recation to an unfair oppressor. When the British were running the colonies and taxing the shit out of the citizens I'm sure there were people who said, "whats all this about revolution? It won't change anything. Just accept it and pay the taxes." But there will always be a group of people who stand up and say NO. I won't accept it. And I will do everything in my power to change it.

But Tony was partially right. This is a hater site. Haters of Mike Brown, haters of the decisions he has made, and haters of players with no heart and no class. This, in turn, makes us the biggest Bengal lovers out there.

give Governor The Real Tyke Beasly a Harumph! Give the Governor a Harumph!!!

As for Tony D, if you think this is a Bengals hating site you are severly missing the point and I just don't know what to tell you.

"If we don't take action now
We settle for nothing later
We'll settle for nothing now
And we'll settle for nothing later" - Rage Against the Machine

Kind of fits into what we're talking about, doesn't it?

Tony D, how many times are you going to come on here spilling your nonsense? Are you related to Mike F. Brown? Oh, golly gee, Mike Brown went out and got them another scrub Punter, who nobody wanted, to improve the punting department. That will make Larson punt better. LOL Are you excited now, Tony? I am sure that got you excited for the season. It takes Mike Brown years to realize something is wrong to go along with ML. I wonder why it takes them so long? Well, I am sure most on here know. Mike Brown has not figured this thing out in 18 years and if you can not face reality then you are just another person that is really the main cause in why he continues his same old tiresome continuity ways.

Not to mention all the poor business policies he continuously supports (football operations aside) since the day he arrived ...

So after recieving all the hatred in response to my last post, I will ask just this one question, I have yet to get a clear answer to from the group here.

What will you guys say and do if the Bengals have a winning year in 09'? will the hate continue? I have a feeling this site would hate a Bengals winning season, for it would totally debunk all your rhetorick and agenda. Let the excuses role...

Tony D - First off let me say this then I will answer your question? Before I answer your question I want to say that this site does not care if the Bengals have one winning season. It is much more than that! This site is dedicated to inform Mike Brown that his management and leadership styles fail when it comes to running a successful NFL Franchise. Until Mike Brown takes the necessary steps to better this organization I feel this site will continue to operate and run its course. Mike needs to understand that having 6 scouts (2 of which are family) and having his daughter and son-in-law run the football operations dept. is not working!!! From what I remember reading recently on ESPN.com draft section the Bengals have not been given an A grade on their draft picks since ML has been our coach, not to mention we have only made the playoffs once in Mike Brown's tenure as owner/GM. This site is not about having one winning season it is about the changes that need to be made so the Bengals have a chance of making it to the Super Bowl year in and year out! Now to answer your question... If the Bengals have a winning season this year that is fantastic but I dont think it will stop WDR's attempts to better the franchise! This will continue until Mike Brown realizes that he doesnt know how to successfully run an NFL team! Finally, i can understand your optimism looking forward but dont forget Free Agency and the Draft havent even taken place yet this off-season. Assuming the reports are true just remember Mike Brown is not going to re-sign the Bengals most productive player on the field (the only true leader on this team, TJ) Mike Brown will most likely only sign mediocre free agents if any and again he will most likely draft poorly due to the incompetence and small number in the Bengals scouting department. Again, I would be thrilled to see the Bengals have a winning season next year but 2 winning seasons in the last how many years still doesnt cut it and WDR will continue to take the necessary steps needed to help this organization make the right changes in order to succeed every year! I hope the Bengals do win, but in my heart I wont be satisfied until Mike Brown decides to run this franchise similar to the other 31 NFL teams!! Does that answer your ? Tony?

You're goddamn right I'll continue bashing the Bengals if they have a winning season. I'm about to eat over $1200 in coa's I just paid off last year. They can win the Super Bowl and I'll find something to bitch about.

Tony: Think of the tenure under Mike Brown as a college basketball season. If your team had 1 win and 17 losses would you be happy? If they then won one game to go 2-17 would it stop you from believing they need to change something? (In case you don't follow the analogy, a "win" would be a winning season). We're looking at the big picture here. While a "win" is ALWAYS good, until you "win" consistently the revolution will continue.

As a life long Steeler fan I have one thing to say: trust me. We don't consider the Bungles our rivals...never have. never will. They're just a speed bump every year on our way to the Divisional title!

Who Is your top Rival then? Huh?
