As if this season hasn't been unsavory enough with the whole 0 and whatever streak the Bengals started with and the unwatchable offense and general lack of caring from the Bengals organization to the plight of their fans, the playoffs have offered only a big middle finger to Cincinnatians.
Let's see, what is the only thing that could possibly rival my angst about the NFL and the Bengals being the symbolic meth head of the league? If you ventured a guess that involved the shining pile of crap that is the Steelers, then you sir, or madam, are correct.
It is so very deflating to watch Pittsburgh's inevitable run towards a title that I have started to openly root for very bad things to happen to Steelers players, fans and the city in general. I think if there was ever going to be a fun time to have a plague lay waste to a city anywhere in the world, right now, in Pittsburgh, would be as good a time as ever. Just Kidding. Not really though.
I guess I'm just going to have to put my faith+1 in the hands of God's avenging angel Kurt Warner to smite Himes and Roethslinger and that whole F'ing bandwagon fanbase.

You weren't the only one, Scott Ricketts. I'd have paid good money to see him bleed or cry or twitch.

F**k Himes Ward...he's like a Smokey Robinson that cheap-shots people.
But most of all, F**k the Stillers...f**kin' Stillers.

My heart leapt for joy when Himes went down and was on the bench. I prayed "Please Lord, let this rotten SOB be on IR for the Super Bowl."

Matt,
I have to share this with you. It's from today's column by DJ Gallo of ESPN Page 2:
"It's too bad Ray Lewis didn't get back to the Super Bowl. That would have been quite a story. A redemption story. A story of faith triumphing over tragedy. An American story. Because I think every little American boy grows up dreaming of one day playing in a Super Bowl immediately following an offseason in which he turned state's witness and pled guilty to obstruction of justice in a double-murder case. I know I did."
I hope that helps you to feel a liitle better.

Matt,
Cpt. Steve-O said it well, but if I may add a bit...
As a Bengal fan and a Kentucky basketball fan, in honor of the upcoming SATs:
Bengals:Steelers::Kentucky:_____. The answer, of course, is Duke. We Wildcat fans hate 'em with a passion, but you have to respect what Coach K has accomplished.

I prayed for Roethlisburger to get hurt, spent the first half thinking about how terrible it was to do that, then prayed for it again in the 4th. I have never hated anything as bad as I do that organization. I want Ben's knee to get blown out and watch the Steelers get set back 2+ years. Hate.

Matt,
Fear not Comrade... its Katie Blackburn's Kool Aide that she spiked your drink with in order for you to be pulling for the Steelers. Personally, I would have enjoyed seeing that whole stadium get swallowed by the earth and both teams lose, thus crowning the Cardinals by default. Ergo....... lets just hope Arizona pulls this one off in 2 weeks.
Now, with that being said and our universal hatred of the Steelers on the table... I gotta admit... they run a helluva organization. It makes we wanna throw up when I see their success, however you can't help but respect what they do. Year in, year out, they put out a quality consistent winning product that contends to win the Super Bowl. It is a solid organization from the ground up (or as it should be, from the top on down). Hate Pittsburgh with all your heart, but at the end of the day you gotta give respect where respect is due. Mikey Boy, we can only hope you've been taking notes for the past 18 years. Doubtful, but we can still hope.
Go fuck yourself, MFB.

I have never loathed a group of people more than I do the Squeelers. But the Cardinals give me hope that yes, the Bengals could make it there, too. If only they get a GM, some O-linemen, etc. etc.

i hope Wiz has some sht up his sleeve for the old team... new WDR member this week: my wife. she pointed out that the steelers do something semi-illegal every single game and there is no backlash. she notes that dirty is not tough.

Before I respond to this post I would like to say that I have not and will not renew my season tickets.
With that said... what I am about to write might get me removed from the revolution... I...gulp... found myself rooting for the Steelers last night. It goes against everything I know. But I respect the Steelers and their organization even if I hate all of them. I cannot say the same thing about the Ravens. The Ravens are and will always be the Browns to me.
Just thought I would share this awful time in my life.

At least we know how much God loves Jesus Warner......and Even God Hates the Steelers!

It really just sickens me to watch year in and year out the Steelers in the playoffs and Bengals sitting on their hands waiting for next year. It will always be waiting for next year with Mike Brown's Bengals.
