The most common criticism of Who Dey Revolution is that Mike Brown will never change. In fact, Mike Brown himself says even though his 18 years of inept management have resulted in the worst record in major North American professional sports, he will not change. But, as I wrote before, things are different this time. As the economy gets worse, people and more importantly suite and club seat owners will refuse to spend money on Mike Brown's products. I am not the only one predicting a "sports recession". The first teams to be hit hard are going to be marginal sports, marginal bowl games, and losing teams. The WNBA's most successful franchise is disbanding. Many mid to low level bowl games will go under. And professional sports franchises who put losing products on the field will see their fans go elsewhere. The availability of HDTV and unlimited TV options will drive people to stay home and watch games in the comfort of their own homes, so when one gets fed up with the Bengals inevitable pitiful performance, you can change the channel and watch real NFL football. Bill Simmons provided an excellent analysis about how new NFL stadiums are driving away true fans in favor of a wealthier clientele. The Bengals are clearly within this group. The downside (for Mike Brown's money) is these new fans do not have the same loyalty, and when things go south (like this year), they will stay home. In the next year or two, Club Seats and Suite leases come up for renewal. We need to demand change and not accept lame excuses and token changes. Demand change at the top. Mike Brown, give up control of all football operations. You got your chance. You have failed. There is no way to spin the fact. If you want to make money, you need to step away. Cincinnati will love you for it.

As much as I love this place and visit it daily, it won't happen. The team is like Chumley's precious. He ain't giving it up for anyone.

I said it before and I will say it again... ...your 'wish' just ain't gunna happen! MBB has NO INCENTIVE to leave and such an incentive can't be manufactured. The NFL can't do anything about Mikey Boy Brown (If you think they can... ...show me -- then I get to mention the Sherman Act!), the State of Ohio isn't going to do anything about Mikey Boy Brown as they consider it a local issue (again, if you think this is in error, please step up and show me to be wrong!) the County isn't going to do anything (any amount of revenue they get from the Bengals is 'free money' so they aren't going to be complaining), and the City knows that the Bengals have a lease (albeit a stupid one that gave MBB all the keys) and they can't get out of it. So again, I ask you, how can you get MBB to leave this city?

I don't think anyone believes the NFL or the county is going to force Mike Brown out. Also, we are not calling for him to leave the city. He can own the Bengals, just hire someone who knows what they are doing to run the team.

But that is the whole point Beaser! He isn't going to hire a GM who has free-reign. He may (though I highly doubt it) hire a GM that is 'kept' by MBB so for all intents and purposes, it is MBB making the decision. Thus nothing will have changed. So you can call on him to get a GM until you die of a friggin' stroke -- it ISN'T GOING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Let me say this again: "IT ISN'T GOING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!"
You don't seem to understand that the only way to affect change is by getting MBB to leave and as I've already said, you missed that chance when you gave him the golden keys in PBS. He threatened to leave and some wimp-assed pussy boys decided that they just couldn't go without their football -- the selfish fucks! They brought this turd that is Mikey Boy Brown back to the city.
So quit bitchin' about him hiring a GM -- it isn't going to happen -- at least not a 'true' GM. Get it?
