Who Dey Revolution Manifesto

  • Preamble

    IN THIS TIME of perpetual Cincinnati Bengals incompetence and futility, with zero playoff wins in the eighteen seasons since the WhoDeyRevolution Godfather, Paul Brown, passed away in 1991 and handed the team to his fortunate son, the Despot, Mike Brown;

    Introduction

    WE, the members of the Who Dey Revolution, in our fervent dedication to the Cincinnati Bengals and fanatical desire to transform our hometown team into perpetual Super Bowl contenders, call for a popular revolution of fans to demand comprehensive reform to the managerial decisions and approach of Cincinnati Bengals ownership, management, staff and players, and hereby call for the adoption of the following Who Dey Revolution Manifesto:

    Manifesto Demands

    THAT the Mike Brown, Katie Blackburn, Marvin Lewis, along with every other member of the Bengals management, staff and personnel, state publicly to all Bengals fans, “I will do everything in my power to help the Cincinnati Bengals win a Super Bowl;”

    THAT Mike Brown will hire a general manager, drastically expand the scouting department and relinquish all control of player personnel;

    THAT all training, rehabilitation and medical facilities are considered best-in-class compared to other NFL teams;

    THAT the management fill the team only with players who fit the system, both mentally and physically, and are not reluctant to makes changes to player personnel when needed, regardless of cost or loyalty concerns;

    THAT offensive and defensive line depth is considered the top priority for all player personnel decisions;

    THAT all decisions made by ownership, management, staff and players, both on and off the field, are judged only by this criterion: “Does this help the Cincinnati Bengals win a Super Bowl?”

Slim Henry Update

ChrisHenry Just in case you were wondering, here's an update on "The Redeemer's" favorite wide receiver, Chris Henry.  Yes, the same Chris Henry who Mike Brown brought back to solve our wide receiver crisis.

After cutting Henry in April, Mike Brown alienated his head coach, fan base, and players by re-signing Henry in August, taking a massive PR hit in the process.

All that being said...Chris Henry has contributed the following in six games:

8 CATCHES, 82 YARDS, 0 TD

After all the bad publicity, driving an irreplaceable wedge between the front office and Marvin Lewis, using up a roster spot for someone who drops more passes than he catches while NOT playing special teams...after all that...Chris Henry has 8 catches.

One question to Bengals management:  Was it worth it?

Another:  Knowing the disaster that Henry has been on the field this year, would you do it again?

By the way, TJ Houshmandzadeh had 12 catches on Sunday.

Thanks Mike, you make our jobs here at WDR very easy.

Dude, Slim's skills air tight. I would rather be in the foxhole with Slim than any other player in the NFL. He is loyal, and always comes through in the clutch. His background has made him the most dependable, honorable person I have ever seen.

Oh wait, did I fail to mention that it is opposite day? Snap!

Any quality football mind would have re signed Chris Henry. Oh wait, every other NFL team had the chance and they passed. Only Mike Brown thought this was a good idea. Well Mikey Boy is not that upset it was a cheap, in dollar terms, mistake. If it does not have a place on the balance sheet, Mikey does not want to hear your arguments about "ruining team chemistry", "Destroying the credibility of the Head Coach", or "Making the Commish angry".

Was this sign put up by some one else or is this the fourth step in bringing down good ol' mikey

Put him on IR!!! Carson is great, and in 15 years He & Boomer will be talking to each other about how if thay had played for a real franchise they would be in the Hall of Fame, but whats the F'N point of keeping him on the active roster this year? For the next item on project mahem we should pay a hit man to take out the wast of Paul Browns Sperm!!
