For those of you who think this is a good signing (I admit, I liked it for about 1 minute, until Comrade Brosef Stalin talked some sense into me), lets look back at Mr. Benson's career in the NFL.
In Mr. Benson's first training camp, his teammates hated him so much they tried to injure him. Fox Sports Jay Glazer (who gets every scoop in the NFL) said that 10 Bears Defensive players told him they were trying to injure Cedric.
Mr. Benson did not earn the starting job, then blew out his knee (at least he has that in common with every Bengals running back).
The Bears were eager to make Mr. Benson the starter (due to his $35M contract), but Cedric was injured by "running into Brian Urlacher" during a routine scrimmage. The injury was "not serious" and he missed the entire preseason. Thomas Jones was the starter again.
In 2007, the Bears made Mr. Benson the starter. He sucked. He averaged 3.4 yards a carry, so did Adrian Peterson. No not that Adrian Peterson. Then he got arrested twice. Now he is a Cincinnati Bengal. Wonderful.

Awesome, ain't it? The Redeemer strikes again! On my way home from work today, I was listening to that pitiful press conference in Oakland and thought, "Thank God there's at least one franchise out there that's more pathetic than us right now." Then in the next minute, I heard this news.
My victory was short-lived indeed.

Thank you Mr. Brown for another pathedic excuse to hate on my beloved Bungles. As if re-signing Chris Henry was not enough he went out and signed Benson, as if the Bungles team chemistry wasn't low enough already. If only I hadn't been a Bengals fan for 32 years it would be so much easier to jump ship.

I always remember him weeping openly when he was drafted and being overly-defensive in his first post-selection interview. I could tell the Bears had a bust on their hands. Now the Bengals do.

I dont know why everyone is so down on this pickup. I think its safe to say the Bengals haven't cared about character for a few years now. Why is everyone so shocked? We got him cheap and hes gonna give our O-Line a nice push.

WTF is this dude gonna do with our shitty O-Line?

Nothing, AC, he will do nothing. Except maybe induce them to fuck up even more blocks so that he gets hit hard enough to get injured again.
