One of the strangest consequences of following sports and proclaiming an unhealthy allegiance to a specific team is the belief that a fan can claim responsibility for their teams' success as if it is some sort of manifestation of themselves.
Steelers fans are the worst about this. Congratulations, you were born and raised in Western PA (or more likely, West Virginia) and therefore are a Steelers fan. You had nothing to do with the Rooney's decision to hire Bill Cowher, install a common sense player personnel policy or draft Ben Rothliesberger. I was born and raised in Cincinnati and have been cursed with having to follow the Bengals my entire life. Mike Brown's incompetence is in no way a reflection of my intelligence.
However, when you are a Bengals fan and faced with losing season after losing season, this sentiment oftentimes is modified towards projecting all of your personal problems on your team. Had a bad week at work? Fuck you Rudi Johnson, you bum. See, don't you feel better already?
Bengals fans really don't have a lot of ammo to use against fans of other teams. Regardless, with a 3-13 season on the horizon, it feels great to be able to forget about the Bengals upcoming season and just lay some hate on the Steelers.
So while I am sure there are countless examples of similar stupidity and butchering of the English language by Bengals fans out there (including on this blog), it feels good to laugh at the Steelers every now and then.
Now that we have shared that laugh, back to trying to do something to actually change the Bengals into a winner.

Sorry to inform you, but Brown's incompetence IS a reflection of your own stupidity.
And if you think they mangle the language in Pittsburgh, you ought to check out Cincitucky.
Not to mention Carson Palmer is a big-game choker.

In addition to poor grammar, Steelers fans posses the inability to take a joke.

Saw the exact same grammar mistake on a pick-up truck out here in Los Angeles. Certainly there are Steeler fans in SoCal, but "Your in Steeler Country" is a pretty ridiculous statement when you're rolling down the Santa Monica freeway.
