This story is six days old, but it is so well written and spot on that it deserves its own post on WDR. Jim Litke, AP Sports Columnist, places the blame for the previous 17 years of the Bengals being a complete joke right where it should be placed: at the feet of Mike Brown. Read the whole thing, but the best paragraph is when Litke writes:
The Bengals have been a joke on the field nearly every day since Brown took the helm from his father, the late Paul Brown, in 1991 - they've posted exactly one winning season since - and even sorrier outside the lines. The younger Brown thinks so highly of his own counsel that he hasn't bothered to hire a general manager. Two of the players he tagged as "franchise players" fled town before the ink had a chance to dry; so many others he signed to deals ripped the club that Brown tried - and failed - to get loyalty clauses written into contracts for new players.
Who Dey Revolution exists to show Bengals fans that we will not have a real shot at a Super Bowl until the team makes serious changes in its management and approach to the game. Unfortunatly, with Mike Brown in charge, I have a better shot with any of the girls on Mo's blog.
