On a historic night in American history, the Bengals finally stood up to their elitist, oil grubbing doubters and pulverized the Colts practice squad 27-7 last night.
With the win, the Bengals finish with the Brown family's "perfect" record of 2-2 in the pre-season, and are set to face the QB-less Baltimore Ravens on September 7th.
The Bengals don't take the Amtrak home every night like Joe Biden, but their trip back I-74 was a good one after Ryan Fitzpatrick led the offense on two scoring drives for a quick 14-0 lead.
Here are a few quick hit pros and cons from last night's action:
Pro - Domata Peko stripping the ball from Colts third string QB Quinn Gray deep in Colts territory
Con - Paul Keels not realizing this was happening until the Bengals offense started running off the field...reminding me of slow commentary in a video game.
Pro - People literally passing out in Denver from Obamamania
Con - People literally passing out in Indy after long lines for the women's bathroom.
Pro - James Johnson and Dee Dee Dorsey elevating their status, making the Rudi Johnson cut on Saturday inevitable
Con - Chris Perry 2.2 yard rushing average, despite a 5-yard touchdown run.
Pro - Ahmad Brooks is outta here
Con - Anyone who bought an Ahmad Brooks jersey
Pro - Corey Lynch got the start at safety
Con - Bengals still can't rush the passer

Eric Henderson can flat out rush a passer- or a Jared Lorenzen, anyway. So can Jason Shirley- who Munoz and Keels call "Big Shirley", which reminds me too much of the sassy, big afro'ed waitress from "What's Happening?"
Hey, hey, hey.
