The international sign of distressed is to fly or display something upside down. I believe the Bengals are a team in distress now for many years, so I am encouraging restaurants, pubs and bars to turn upside down anything with the Bengals name on it or symbols of the Bengals, that they have displayed in their establishment. Let’s get this out to every body.

How your unused Bengal tickets could be worth $100's even $1000's more than they are now.
With the finacial state of America in distress, how can the tax payers in Cincinnati afford the Bengals?
I suggest the fans force a real football team use the stadium the tax payers of Cincinnati are paying for. As long as Mike Brown or any one related to him owns a team here, the team will fail.
People simply quit attending games even if you paid for tickets. You are only insulting people by asking someone else to attend in your place. Your unused tickets will be worth hundreds more in the future when they are unused, by being the ticket to the NFL game where no one attended.

Marvin needs to go and take that garbage after game press conference with him. Im sick and tired of his KGB attitude and his smart ass answers. I mean the team sucks and this clown cant answer a simple question without being a dick with ears. That sly smile of his and you can tell that he hates rteporters, the dick is condesending to the press and the fans.
Quess what Marvin , you have out lived your welcome and have lost control of the team, BUT WAIT...With Mike Brown, thats a contract exstention. Geez , these clowns....ONLY IN CINCY!

So why is Mike Brown ok with bringing Henry back but not Thurman? No doubt Paul Brown is steaming in his grave. Even Marge Schott was a better owner than Mike Brown. You can spell Who Dey and Bengals without Mike Brown (less the shared letters of course).

Posted by: Steve Hawley | October 02, 2008 at 08:47 PM
The Manifesto is a first-rate analysis of what is wrong with this franchise.
The only thing that will get the attention of the Brown family is for the fans to not attend the games. The embarrassment of the empty seats MIGHT shame them into "aping their betters" and begin the process of changing the organization into one that is similar to the good teams. Or, it might not.....but it's the only weapon we have.
To the barricades, brothers!

The only way to affect change with the Bengals is to stop attending the games. As long as PBS sells out every Sunday, Mike Brown is not going to make any changes. If the stadium is half empty, then the league will force him to make changes.

We can only hope that the US Government will bailout the Bengals. Lord knows, we sure could use the cash to buy an offensive line.
I just don't understand, you have one of the best QB's in the league with one of the worst offensive lines. Oh yeah, Mike Brown is running the team. He probably doesn't know the difference between an offensive lineman and a kicker.
In a postive light, how about hooking-up a generator to Paul Brown's casket? He's spinning so fast in his grave and could probably provide enough energy to power Cincinnati.
Enough is enough.........
I have been a fan of the Bengals since I was a kid. I am still a fan, but I can't continue to spend my good hard earned money on them. What I have done.
1. Canceled the Who-dey plates
2. Took down the Bengal flag at the house
3. Scraped off the Bengal stickers from the cars
4. Stopped buying Bengal gear in '08
5. Pulled the large Bengal magnet face off the garage
6. Stopped watching them on TV opting to commiserate with Lapham on the radio

We should make the 10-19-2008 a sea of black and yellow. Sellyour Steeler game tickets for whatever you can get. Each seat occupied by an opposing fan could be seen as a season ticket holder that will not renew. Money is the only thing Mike Brown can understand.

From someone who has been screwed by the Brown family, I'm on board this revolution! It's not just the fans that are treated poorly, the Brown family has no respect for their players or coaches either. It's getting old, and quite frankly I'm embarrased to admit that I'm a Bengals fan. My husband threatened to jump ship but after being fan for 28 years I don't know who I would root for. Cincinnati has some of the most loyal fans...I wonder if Mike Brown is sitting on his mound of cash saying "SUCKERS!" 0-7, is this considered rock bottom? I guess not, that would be 0-16.

first off i am a die hard steeler fan. the hit ward put on rivers was completely legal and opened more running room for moore. unfortunately for rivers he got injured, i am sure it wasnt wards intent. these hits happen on special teams all the time and no one receives fines. they happen in hockey also no one cries. it was dirty when kimo got blocked by your left tackle into carson in 2005. a game that i attended in the worst stadium in football. you guys need to grow up and quit bitching. maybe if you get players that can stay out of jail yunz can get some class and win a game or two.........

I like the jerk line idea....here is another we should put collection boxes for tickets outside the stadium. Mail them back to mike brown have everyone sign them and say thanks but no thanks. I would put both of my season tickets in there for a game to make a stand. Maybe the thought of losing season ticket holders would help.

A bengal fans dream come true...- CNN- "We are live on the scene of the plane crash that has killed the most hated man in football along with his whole entire bloodline. Mike Brown, the man who couldn't run a sports franchise of any sort (singles table tennis included) died today in a horrific crash which has fans across the nation and some of the world celebrating in the streets that they may now have a chance to finally feel what every team who has ever won a championship of any capasity have felt. Mr.Browns entire family was onboard counting Bengals fans money and drinking the tears of the young whos dreams had been crushed by the man who has ran the poorest excuse for a sports franchise since the beginning of time. We are recieving word that the Bengals have been willed to Mr.Browns favorite pet vulture, Sam (named after Uncle Sam who is also famous for taking your money and donig God knows what with it). The good news in this is vultures at least wait till you die to rip you to shreds and take what little dignity you may have left. We have no word of who will take over the team once Sam is killed by Bengals fans with hunting experience, but we believe any and all Bengals fans remaining at this time will agree that anything, and I mean anything is better than the worthless piece of Sh** that has driven the Bengals into the ground for the last two decades. Back to you in the studio." Who WE?!!!!

Dear Bengals,
I just wanted to take a moment to send this message and say " Thank You ". Thank you for freeing up my Sundays from now on. I can't tell you how much I appreciate what you have done for me. You have shown me that I can get a lot of things done around the house on Sundays. You have shown me that there are a lot of festivals out there to be enjoyed. My yard has never looked better. All of the flower beds are weeded. The grass is cut nicely. The windows are all clean. I've painted the fence around the back yard. I even have more time to spend with my wife and friends since I have STOPPED WATCHING THE BENGALS.
I gave up my tickets when you built your " Palace on the River " and wanted me to pay for the right to continue to buy my tickets. I lived through 13 years of the worst sports team in history and never wavered in my support of your team. I was hopeful as the greatest football mind that ever walked on the field passed on his creation to his son. And when that mind passed away I grieved. We have been in mourning ever since.
Mr. Brown, you have shown us for years that you can sit back with your multi-million dollar sports team and squeeze the life { not to mention a sizable amount of our money } out of your fan base with very little regard for the satisfaction of you "customers". That's right Mike , we are your customers and that's how I am going to act from this point forward. If I take my wife out to dinner and the food or the service are not to my liking, I don't go back. If I take my car to a mechanic and his work is not up to my satisfaction, I find another garage to go to and I don't go back. Your product is not up to my satisfaction so I WILL NOT BE BACK. I will no longer waste my time watching a team that is rapidly on their way back to " The worst sports team in history " again.
You have squeezed the last hard earned dollar out of my pocket. I won't be like some former fans and burn all of my Bengals gear but you won't see me buying any more. It's funny really. I tried to sell some of it in our yard sale last year and couldn't even get $20.00 for a one year old jersey.
To coach Lewis I must say that I feel sorry for you. It must be hard for you to walk after Mike Brown took you legs off at the knees. How can you expect to produce a winning team when your owner continues to strap you with convicts and trouble makers. Although very talented, some of your players couldn't make it in the real world without football. You pay them millions of dollars to play a child's game and they act like spoiled children. I wonder why?
So in closing I would like to thank you for opening my eyes and helping me to see that Sam was right. There is tennis to be served up and there is golf to be played and there is a lot of better things to do than waste 4 or 5 hours of my life every week in the fall watching the embarrassment that is The Cincinnati Bengals. To you Mr. Brown and The Cincinnati Bengals I simply say " PISS OFF ". Shoot for the "Perfect Season". 0-16. That record might not be to hard to achieve.....for your team.
Now let's see, where did I put my golf clubs???
In heart felt sincerity,
Mike Burgher
My name is R. David Warmoth and I approve this message

Clean it up, be taken seriously. Do you really expect anyone in league management to respond to teenage "humor" and comments?

Stop holding the fans hostage !!!! When we go to the hospital for surgery, we demand that a qualified person is doing the operation. Why can't we expect the same when we go to a Bengals game. Just heard I believe you Mr. Simon talking on 700WLW, on my way home from work. I am a full part of this revolution. What does this city have to look foward to these days? In times of a struggling economy people turn to their sports teams for hope, encouragement, whatever. But you got nothing to look for out of this team. This may not get Mike BSbrown to change his ways, but it's a step in the right direction for hope, that one day this organization can change.

As a corporate sleaze bag, Mike Brown is doing a fine job: keep costs as low as possible while continuing to pull maximum revenues from a sold out stadium and TV and radio sponsors. Nothing will change until it hits Mike Brown in the wallet. Fans, wake up! Don't go to games and don't patronize the advertisers who continue to give him money.
